Participants
We are looking for more elders who are interested in being featured. Portraits of our Elders encourages participants from any background. Our studio is fully portable, allowing portraits and interviews to be done wherever it is convenient for the elder. Family members, especially grandchildren, are encouraged to take part in the interview process.
Participating elders are asked to share their story with guidance and questions from the interviewer. The interview is later transcribed and organized. The participant is then provided with a copy of the interview for their approval, to ensure that they were no transcription errors and that their meaning is clear to the reader.
